We’re so happy you chose Stadigies self-catering accommodation for your stay in Marloth Park.

Before you settle in, we would like to make you aware of our House Rules. Understanding and complying with our House Rules will make for a very comfortable stay

  • PLEASE TREAT OUR HOUSE WITH THE SAME RESPECT AS YOU WOULD YOUR OWN HOME. WE’VE PUT A LOT OF EFFORT INTO MAKING THIS INTO A LOVELY SPACE TO BE ENJOYED BY OUR GUESTS. 
  • Prior to booking your accommodation with Stadigies, we would like to request that you familiarize yourself with our House Rules. Complying with these rules will ensure you of a comfortable stay. 
  • No smoking inside the house

  • Guest will be held responsible for the loss and/or damages of keys or locks

  • Report any accidental damages or breakages to the staff of Stadigies in a timely manner.
  • Only the provided swimming towels are permitted for use at the swimming pool.
  • Please inform a Stadigies employee of any missing or damaged appliances/items.
  • Check-in and check-out times:

Check – in:  14:00  

Check-out:  10:00

  • Housekeeping will be provided during weekdays (Monday – Friday) and is optional over weekends subject to pre-arrangement and pre–payment at R250 per day.
  • Guests will be held responsible for the loss of keys and damage to keys or locks.
  • Bookings will be confirmed upon receipt of 50% deposit.  Balance payable 48 hours prior to arrival. EFT transactions only.  No cash payments or cheques will be accepted.

  • Cancellations policies:  Bookings can be cancelled and fully refunded up to three weeks before arrival.  For cancellations less than three weeks prior to arrival, a cancellation fee will apply.

  • Day Visitors:  A maximum of 14 guests and 4 vehicles (in total) will be allowed on the premises at any given time.
    NB:  A day visitor’s fee of R100 per adult and R50 per child will be charged.  Pre-arrangement is required.

  • RATES
  • Stadigies self-catering accommodation makes use of a septic tank.  Please do not flush any foreign objects down the toilet (this includes cigarette buds, cotton buds, feminine products and diapers).  Please use the dustbins provided.
  • Stadigies self-catering accommodation will not be held responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged property of guests.
  • Stadigies self-catering accommodation will not be held responsible for any injury, illness or death during your stay.
  • Keep in mind that Marloth Park is a low risk Malaria area and the use of mosquito repellent is highly recommended.
  • Feeding of the animals is prohibited.  All the animals at Marloth Park are wild and should be considered as dangerous. To avoid animals entering the house please close all windows and doors when leaving the house.
  • No Pets allowed.
  • Please close all doors and windows whilst the air conditioning is in use.

SAFETY RULES

  • Fires may only be lit in the designated braai/BBQ area.
  • All floors are extremely slippery when wet;
  • Be aware that the swimming pool, patio, and patio stairs have sharp edges;
  • The interior staircase is steep and has sharp edges. (please make use of the hand-railing)

MARLOTH PARK RULES

  • CHILDREN: 
    • Children are not allowed on the driver’s lap 
    • Children are not allowed to drive a vehicle 
    • Children may not sit on the tailgate / window ledges or roof of a vehicle 
  • PLEASE DO NOT LITTER PLEASE DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE 
  • NOISE POLLUTION: * Loud music disturbs the peaceful environment * 
  • No loud noise (including music, fireworks, etc.) aloud at any time.
  • No spotlights, whether used from a vehicle or from the property.
  • No speeding – speed limit on tarred roads is 50km & on sand roads 30km.
  • No feeding of wildlife except with approved pellets, feeding with maize and bread is strictly prohibited.
  • No pets of any description allowed into Marloth Park.
  • No quad bikes off road bikes whatsoever to be operated within Marloth Park.
  • Observe all rules of the road while driving in Marloth Park and give way to animals at all times.
